(2) Inspection method: According to national standards, yarn quality is evaluated according to quality indicators and weight unevenness. Cotton yarn is graded according to yarn uniformity, cotton knots, and impurity particle count. The quality index mainly refers to the strength of the yarn, which reflects the wear resistance and durability of the fabric to a certain extent. The grade of the yarn mainly reflects the difference in thickness of the yarn and the appearance of defects, which directly affects the appearance of the fabric, such as the evenness, clarity and size of the texture. The quality of the yarn is closely related to production management, process conditions, mechanical conditions, technical operation level, the quality of the raw cotton and its reasonable use.

For the technical indicators of cotton yarn, please refer to the national standard GB/T398-93.
The inspection method of cotton yarn is in accordance with GB/T398-93 "Cotton Natural Yarn"; GB/T4743-95 "Determination of Linear Density (or Count) of Yarn-Hanking Yarn Method"; SN/T0450-95 "Inspection Procedures for Exported Natural Cotton Yarn and Combed Polyester-Cotton Blended Yarn".
Inspection is carried out in accordance with the quality specifications and indicators specified in the trade contract.
