2/26nm Cashmere Yarn

The 2/26nm cashmere yarn is the most widely used standard specification in the cashmere industry - "Nm 26" represents the metric count (26 meters can be stretched from 1 gram of yarn), and "2/" indicates that it is a double yarn twisted together. It is a relatively thick cashmere yarn, compared to 2/36Nm and 2/48Nm, it has a thicker feel, better warmth retention and higher wear resistance, and is suitable for daily wear, as well as scenarios that emphasize durability and warmth.

Twist count and plait count: Nm 2/26 - Metric twist count 26 (1 gram of yarn is 26 meters long), double plaited.
Spinning process: Coarse spinning route (semi-fine spinning is optional), the process flow is: raw material dyeing → blending → carding → plaiting → coarse yarn → fine yarn → twisting cylinder → doubling → doubling twisting.
Raw material standards: Goat hair with a fineness of ≤ 15.5 microns, length of 34-38 millimeters; Baby goat hair with a fineness of ≤ 15 microns, length of ≥ 38 millimeters.
Twist structure: Double plaited process increases yarn strength, wear resistance and anti-torsion performance (single-strand yarn is prone to breaking and is also more likely to tangle).
Quality characteristics: Soft, smooth, good elasticity, water repellent, no color fading, bright color, rich pile effect, super thermal insulation.
Yarn form: Tube yarn (mainstream, suitable for high-speed cross machines) or twisted yarn (suitable for hand knitting).
Needle type compatibility: Single-strand 12-needle cross machine flat knitting, or 3GG to 18GG; double-strand yarn input is compatible with 7-needle cross machine; hand knitting 2-strand uses 13 needles, 3-strand uses 11-12 needles.
Minimum order quantity: Stocked colors are 1 kilogram per color, ordered spinning colors are 20 kilograms per color.
