2/28NM Washable Wool-Cotton Yarn is a medium-high count knitted yarn made by blending fine wool and cotton fibers. Regular wool yarns need to be hand-washed or dry-cleaned. This yarn can be safely placed in the wool washing program of a washing machine (below 30°C, with neutral detergent). The yarn is typically packaged in hank form (500 g per hank) or cone form (1 kg per cone). Hank form is suitable for hand-knitting enthusiasts and small-scale dyeing, while cone form is suitable for continuous production by factory looms.

A golden ratio of wool and cotton, combining comfort and practicality: Wool contributes softness, warmth, and drape, while cotton provides skin-friendliness, breathability, anti-torsion properties and easy care - it is cheaper than pure wool and has a "fleece-like" feel compared to pure cotton.
